“Sin City” – The Life and Times of Jamie Greenslade

Sin City, the brand new single from maitreya’s “Close to Home” album, is out now. It is a coming of age story, the life and times of Jamie Greenslade aka maitreya featuring the rich and rediculously catchy vocals of Awa (Nesian Mystik).  With a guitar hook straight out of Jack Johnson’s back pocket, the song tells the story of a Kiwi kid growing up through good times and bad, finding friendship and heart ache along the way.  The stunning video directed by Marcus Ringrose (DOP Shaun Pettigrew), tells the story from under the Ta Moko gun (Traditional Maori Tattoo), check out an exclusive on maitreya’s channel below.
