Jurjen, a friend since the time when SellaBand had its better days, has sent me over a review about a Spanish fan-funding platform. And here it comes ... In the summer of 2010 I joined AUAMUSIC.COM as a fan. I did read an article about it on the internet and did sign-up. The AUAMUSIC-team is very active on the site and on social networks. Not from nine to five but even in the evenings and in the weekend. They seem real driven entrepreneurs to me ... In my opinion that's the start of any success. AUAMUSIC has reached 2,000 funding fans and almost 3,700 groups. They focus on Spain so they have a regular updated gig-list in that country. Currently 20 bands have reached target. I joined the little project Welelo. With EUR 1,600 it was the littlest project on the website. But even with that little budget I received a cd of good quality and a ROI of almost 30%. One of the projects I like are the Crows. Great music for an international public. But also young Rhiannon Rose makes popular music with great hit-potential.
